I know how important your purchase is to you — and as a solo artist, your satisfaction directly impacts my reputation.
Though I am not responsible for shipper negligence, improper installation or other environmental factors that may damage your purchase, I don’t want you to be left without an item. As a consumer myself, I hate when companies neglect me, so it is my goal to assure you don’t feel neglected. I’m not a big business with endless funds, but I do have safeguards in place to assure we can work together to resolve an issue.
If your artwork breaks or is lost during shipping, I strongly believe nobody should be left without an item they purchased due to a carrier’s negligence:
All shipments will be insured. If you are shipping me an item, you must declare its value and/or share links to where it was purchased. If you do not, I will not be responsible for assisting in any losses.
I cannot control what occurs during shipping, but if an item is lost, I will file a claim at your request.
If I file a claim, I will share the claim number, as well as investigation findings, and/or if there will be an insurance payout.
The insurance payout will go to me, which I will use to purchase and redo the item at no additional cost.
If you prefer to be fully refunded: If I bought your item, I will only refund your service fees. If you sent me the item, full refund.
If you’ve received your item safe and sound, but it breaks within the first month after purchase, I will redo work at a discounted rate, no questions asked, following the below:
All items $250 and above: Flat fee for a redo equal to 30% of the original cost, divided if there is more than one part (i.e., you purchased two lights, but only one broke). You must purchase the new item, and cover shipping round trip.
Items under $250: Free redo, but you cover the purchase of the new item(s) and shipping round trip.
Miscellaneous: If this is a highly specific item wherein we may not be able to replace it, we will have to work together on a case by case basis. If nothing works I am open to discussion regarding my service fee.
I have a waiver for a reason: please be transparent in regards to the quality of the item you are having me work on. I have a track record of breaking ZERO items myself, but if for an unlucky reason this occurs, rest assured I will personally work with you for a resolution.
